Gawai is a tiny silent village lying on Bhattakuffar-Dhalli(Shimla)-Patgehar- Chail road at about 8KMs from Shimla Town.
In Gawai Village and Jungle Patgehar, there is about 75 Bighas of vacant land along the road. Out of this land, about 32 Bighas is located on the southern ridge of Jungle-Patgehar at about 7000’MSL, which is thickly forested mostly with tall deodar, Ban and Rodo trees. The whole land is available for developing tourism activities especially for Jungle tourism. This may include forest trekking, health sanatoria based on herbal and ayurvedic system and a number of other related activities in a close vicinity of Shimla town in a typical hill style hamlet and Jungle environment. This can be done on partnership/lease basis to any entrepreneur interested in rural tourism business activities in Shimla.

Had the best time at this hotel. It really creates such an atmosphere as if you are on an abandoned island with untouched nature. This is a rest not only for body but for soul & mind as well.
I like places where you can unite with nature. After visiting their website I chose this place for vacation and this decision was truly right. 10/10
